My wife and I want to visit Greece…Probably start in athens and then go island hopping….Santorini is a must.
What other islands would you recommend. We like islands with nice beaches that are peaceful.
What is the best way to travel between the islands?
Is it a good idea to do a Greek Island cruise?

We want to go on a tropical honeymoon, where we can be on a cruise ship, but also where we get the chance to get off the boat and hike to waterfalls. But we also want to snorkel and stuff like that. I really just want to be able to see exotic falls. I am not sure where to look, or how to know if a certain package offers waterfall sight-seeing. Does anyone know of any suggestions? Which cruises are there that people know for sure offer sight-seeing tours? What area (Bahamas, New Zealand, Jamaca) have watefalls? Any chance that they allow swimming in waterfall waters? Where can I find more information?
I am 18 and my mom’s neck is injured from a car accident a few years ago, and she can’t go to amusement parks anymore. I want to go on a short 2/3 day vacation that is a little more relaxing because our family vacations are always california with the typical amusement parks and las vegas. Is there an affordable resort, possibly near a beach or near a hiking area, has a spa, good food, has a nice place to walk around at night, a view, etc? My mom doesn’t play sports either. Places with a package that includes shows perhaps? She loves shows. Maybe shopping or cruising around or activities that consist of “watching” entertainment? What do you suggest?
I am being forced to elect vacation days now, versus when I actually am going to want them. So I am looking for a location or cruise or anything for an idea for a vacation. I am a single male, mid-to-late 20s, and not really a drinker or partier. None of my friends will probably be going so I’ll be solo.
Ideally I’d like a low-cost vacation where I can just relax and get away from the stress of life. I am not necessarily looking for a singles sort of thing, but I would consider that as well. I have AAA and they have packages, but I don’t even know where to begin looking!
So, anyone have ideas?
Are these packages any good? My husband & I went on vacation to Destin, FL & was bomb rushed by a salesperson we ran into on the street. She invited us to a presentation (90 minutes) & said she would give free passes to a local cruise in the bay & give us a free 3 day, 2 night stay to a resort.
So we went & met a another sales lady who showed the property & tried to sale us 2 timeshare packages (the first one was 25,000 and the second one was 11,000 with 500.00 dollar deposits). We declined, so she wisked us away to guess services, were a guy asked, if we encountered sales presure (then started to use the same tactics on us).
Then all of a sudden he pulls out a paper with a 2300.00 dollar package on it that required a 200.00 deposit & a 105.00 mo payment. He called this a discovery or a vaction savings acct. We got 300,000 points to try and if we like it then we can transfer the money already paid (the 2300.00) into a real timeshare. Is this a rip off? We have10 days to cancel.
My best friend and I would like to go to the Caribbean and are looking into costs, locations, packages, etc. We are 2 single females in our mid twenties, so something not full of children and more tailored for our age group would be best. Anyone have any recommendations and ideas on costs? Also, when is a good time of year to go that’s got decent weather? We’d rather save up longer and have a nice trip than cut corners and have a mediocre one. Any suggestions on specific islands, hotels, packages, cities, etc are appreciated, thanks.
BTW: not really interested in cruises
So me and my lady went on a cruise last summer in July, to the Bahamas. We loved it. We talk about it everyday and it was almost a year ago. We decided that we HAVE to go on vacation again this summer. The only problem is, I lost my job that I had last year. I am now making minimum wage. (thats Michigan’s jobs for you) She however, is making more money than she was last year.
Either way we want to go on another tropical vacation. We would need to save up for a few months, so we would probably go in like late August or September.
We were thinking that we might be able to afford another smaller Caribbean cruise by September… but we thought that if it was cheaper just to visit the virgin islands for about 5-7 days, than that would be ideal.
My question is, how expensive is it for two to visit the virgin islands in August / September?
I tried looking up like packages and stuff…. but I didn’t have much luck.

I’m from the US. We’re pretty flexible about our dates (generally looking at August/September). We’re really open about where to go (in the US, but if the price is right then overseas somewhere). We like theme parks, beaches, cruises, all-inclusives… etc. We’d like it to be about 1 week or so.
We’re just looking for a REALLY good deal on some package (leaving from either Albuquerque or Denver or Co Springs). So where can I find such deals… and how far in advance do I book? Help me find a great package for our very Loose vacation this year.

Me and 2 friends are planning a trip for 4 days down in Miami near ocean drive. I want to get us a room right near miami beach. We have to fly since were from PA how would we go about finding a hotel and have transportation around miami cause it will be too far to walk places and a taxi will be too expensive. I tried looking on priceline for package deal for flight, hotel and car for $420 a person in August, but it dont let you pick roundtrips so how would we get a flight back home? We need something thats not too expensive cause we dont have a lot of money. We thought of either this trip or a cruise to carribean or a flight to key west. Also we dont care for an expensive hotel since we will only be in the room when we sleep.
We are interested in either a cruise or land package, maybe both. I hear it’s beautiful up there, but need more specific direction on things to see and do.
