How much money does a travel agent make selling packages which include airfare, hotel, car rental, and cruises?

Each airline and hotel etc have different % that they forward on to a travel agent, there isn’t one amount across the board to give a figure.
You will need a booking engine (Sabre, Amadeus), a ticketing agent, (unless you want to be in control of your own ticket stock) understand fare rules.
